Happy Anniversary to PUC CCMS! 25 years ago today, September 8, 1999, was the very first day of school for Community Charter Middle School.
Opening at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in the Grand Salon because our facility was not ready, I stood before our founding 100 students and their parents with humility and immense gratitude for their dedication to creating a better middle school option in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.
I remain so grateful to CSUN for giving us a temporary home without which we could not have opened, and am filled with gratitude for our founding students, parents, and staff for their perseverance and resilience, and for all of you for sustaining our amazing school that continues to serve, thrive, and excel.

Inaugurando en la Universidad de California State, Northridge (CSUN) en el Gran Salón porque nuestras instalaciones no estaban listas, me paré ante nuestros 100 estudiantes fundadores y sus padres con humildad e inmensa gratitud por su dedicación a crear una mejor opción de escuela intermedia en el noreste del Valle de San Fernando.
Sigo muy agradecida a CSUN por brindarnos un hogar temporal sin el cual no podríamos haber abierto, y estoy llena de gratitud por nuestros estudiantes fundadores, padres y personal por su perseverancia y resiliencia, y por todos ustedes por sostener nuestra increíble escuela que continúa sirviendo, prosperando y sobresaliendo.
